WINNER, WINNER - STEAK DINNER! Steak dinner in a Crockpot - We loved it!

RECIPES AT THE TOP; CHITCHAT AT THE BOTTOM! Crockpot Steak Dinner (So good!) PRINTABLE VIEW HERE Sirloin Steaks (2-4) cut in large chunks like you would put on a skewer/kabob  4-6 potatoes (red skins work great but I had russet) washed, peelings on and cut into big cubes. OPTIONAL:  Fresh or canned mushrooms would be delicious added to the pot.) 1 cup beef broth (I used water + beef bullion) 1 Tablespoon garlic powder or minced / fresh garlic  2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce Drizzle of oil (i used olive oil.) 1/2 stick of butter Salt & Pepper Crockpot (I used a tall, round crockpot so that there wasn't much empty space around the food.) Instructions: Rinse the meat and cut into large chunks. Wash potatoes and cut into chunks about the same size as your meat (big enough that you could skewer them if you were doing that.  Like 2 inch cubes.  (I left the peelings on.)   Frozen ChocoNana Pops Recipes at the Top; Chit Chat at the bottom ( REMINDER :  The bananas need to freeze overnight before dipping the next day so allow time for that when making these frozen dipped banana pops). Ingredients: 3 Whole bananas - ripeness of your choice  Popsicle sticks (I bought mine at Walmart for less than $1.) 1 cup chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet but you can use dark chocolate or milk chocolate chips if preferred.) 4 teaspoons coconut oil (Shortening like Crisco will also work but isn't as good for you.  You can even get a little coconut oil from Dollar Tree) Optional: Sprinkles, coconut, crushed nuts (toppings of your choice) Directions: Peel and cut bananas in two or three sections.  Each banana pop should be about 3-4 inches long. Place popsicle sticks inside each banana section so that you can hold the banana on the stick. Two Hour Crockpot Bread - Baking Bread in a Crockpot

TWO HOUR CROCKPOT BREAD is short knead and no rise.   5 ingredients+ parchment paper + crockpot = DELICIOUS BREAD Get out of the kitchen and let the crockpot do the work! Crockpot Yeast Bread (See below for pics of the process.)   1 1/3 cup very warm water (hot, but no hurt – like a hot bath) 1 Tablespoon active dry yeast 1 Tablespoon sugar 3 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon table salt (Parchment paper is a must.)   Directions: 1.    T urn the crockpot on HIGH to preheat while mixing the dough. 2.     Combine hot/warm water, yeast and sugar and se t a timer for 10 minutes to allow time for "proofing" which just means letting the yeast/water/sugar start foaming.  3.         Combine the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. 4.         Once the yeast/water/sugar has proofed for 10 minutes  gently stir a little bit, and then pour over the flour/salt mix in the mixing bowl. 5...

RECIPES AT THE TOP:  CHIT-CHAT AT THE BOTTOM . (But read the step-by-step instructions completely if you are a canning beginner. Surejell requires a certain order to things for it to work.) STRAWBERRY JAM USING SUREJELL POWDER PECTIN 5 cups mashed  (stems removed) fresh strawberries (approximately 3 pounds whole strawberries made 5 cups for me; measure them mashed) 7 cups granulated sugar 1/2 Tablespoon butter/margarine (optional) (helps a little with foaming) 1 box powdered original Surejell pectin  10 (8 oz) canning jars w/ lids & rings (new lids/rings) Instructions: *Step-by-Step instructions listed in the chit-chat below - WITH LOTS OF PICTURES!
